The first group of 70 Russians evacuated from the Gaza Strip has arrived at the operational headquarters of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Cairo, TASS reports.

A convoy of a bus and three minibuses carrying Russian citizens has reached the conference hall at the organized headquarters hotel. The evacuees disembarked from the bus and enter the hall, where they are greeted by medical teams and Emergency Situations Ministry representatives.

It's worth mentioning that two Russian Il-76 planes were ready to pick up Russian citizens from Gaza Strip three days ago.

As reported by Russky Mir earlier, approximately 600 Russian citizens are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to leave the Gaza Strip, but the evacuation was encountering obstacles.
