68 Russians and their family members have been safely transported from the Gaza Strip to Russia by a plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, RIA Novosti reported. The plane, carrying evacuees from the conflict zone in the Middle East, landed at Domodedovo airport, where the operational headquarters loced.  Warm clothes, essentials, food, as well as psychological and medical assistance was immediately provided to the evacuees.

The Russian Federation's representative office to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) mentioned that approximately a 100 more people are awaiting evacuation. Fortunately, there are no wounded or injured individuals. However, many have experienced psychological traumas due to the challenging situation.

In a previous incident, a child with mine-explosive wounds was brought to Moscow. The evacuation is occurring amid renewed hostilities following a week silence.

As we reported before, the evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip commenced nearly a month ago. The initial group of evacuees arrived in Russia on November 13; temporary accommodation centers were established to support them.
