The next group, consisting of 104 people, also crossed the border with Egypt at the Rafah border checkpoint and flew to Russia.

Thanks to the assistance of the authorities of Egypt, Palestine and Israel, the majority of Russians who asked for help have already left the Gaza Strip.

Russian diplomats and rescuers, as well as representatives of other departments, are doing everything possible to evacuate Russians from the danger zone as quickly as possible.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the evacuation of Russians from the conflict zone ''our sacred duty.'' According to him, the situation in the Gaza Strip ''has long since gone beyond critical.''

The evacuees are placed in temporary accommodation centers in the Moscow region and Kaluga region. Adults and children need warm clothing, basic toiletries and other essentials.
