Russian, Indian and Iranian experts confirm to expand trilateral cooperation during the annual meeting in Moscow

Russia-India-Iran trilateral dialogue, organized by the Russkiy Mir Foundation, took place in Moscow on October, 19 and 20, Education and Science Committee at the State Duma press service informed.

Participants of the meeting are politicians, diplomats and political scientists from three countries. The program of the conference includes discussion of actual current issues in the world, contemporary challenges and specifics of regional interaction between Russia, India and Iran. Such topics, as Middle East conflicts and role of three countries role in resolving conflicts were discussed at the special plenary session.

Participants of the conference were greeted by the Chairman of the Committee on Education of the State Duma, Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Vyacheslav Nikonov. The politician has mentioned that the expert level of this meeting allows not only to discuss three-sided cooperation but also to work on common position on topical issues on the international agenda.

Director of Institute of Political and International Research and Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Kazem Shariatmadari greeted the participants. Director of Observer Research Foundation  Sanjay Joshi has explained position of the Indian delegation. Ambassadors of India and Iran in Moscow have also appeared at the conference.
