The British Ministry of Internal Affairs holds no evidence of Moscow’s involvement into a case of poisoning by Novichok, registered in Amesbury. This unusual for the UK statement was made by the deputy’s head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, RIA Novosti informs.

According to the Deputy Head of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, the main version is that the couple was subject to nerve agent and suffered from the aftermath of attack on the father and the daughter Skripals.

He has requested the Russian authorities to provide information on the Skripal’s case. Deputy Minister is sure that Russia could fill in all the gaps in order to ensure safety of people. Deputy Minister is sure that no matter how much time the investigation took, they would find the guilty ones.

The two people were found in one of the living blocks in Amesbury. A man and a woman were delivered in critical condition to the same hospital where Sergei and Julia Skripal were treated.

Scotland Yard believes that they fell victims of Novichok nerve agent. At this, the police do not know the way they were poisoned. They did not attend any places associated with Skripals.

The investigation is going on. It involves around a hundred of police officers. Doctors calmed down  the people claiming that the risk of contamination is minimum, but advised to take necessary precautions.
