The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Sergei Lavrov compared the British authorities' position on the Skripals case with behavior of "children in a kindergarten," RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, London constantly states that there are certain evidence of Moscow's involvement. Meanwhile, Lavrov stressed that no one had seen these facts so far.

On September 26, the British Prime Minister Teresa May repeated that Russia was allegedly conducting activities destabilizing the world situation. She said this at the UN Security Council meeting on countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The Prime Minister also accused Moscow of using chemical weapons in Salisbury.

Sergei Lavrov noted that her speech was not something new or unexpected. Theresa May regularly talks about this and constantly arrogantly declares that she has one hundred percent evidence. The MFA head stressed that London's refusal to present evidence contradicts international agreements. They indicate that in such cases it is necessary to initiate a dialogue and directly discuss what happened.

"When they tell us that you know everything yourself, so confess to what you have done and promise that you will not do it any more, it's like in a kindergarten, it does not work," the Russian Foreign Minister summed up.
