Winners of the Akhmatova Competition awarded in Sofia

The Flight of Time literary competition took place in Sofia, the Moscow Compatriot's House reports. The award ceremony took place at the Moscow House. It was timed to coincide with the Union of Russian-speaking writers and journalists in Bulgaria 7 years anniversary.

The winners of the Anna Akhmatova were named in three categories: best authors of poetry, prose and essays.

Professional writers and amateurs from many countries, from Russia to Mexico and Israel have applied to participate in the competition.

For the first time the competition, established by the Union of Russian-speaking writers in Bulgaria, was held three years ago.
