A teacher at a theater and art college in Odessa lost his job because of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, the Ukraina.ru telegram channel reports. The administration of the educational institution kicked out the 82-year-old teacher who taught music and art history because he played the music of the Russian classic to students.

He was accused of violating the order of the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture. The department ordered to boycott the great composer, since, according to the Kyiv regime, ''Russian culture is part of Russian state policy.''

In Ukraine, they called the Swan Lake ballet an instrument of Russia’s soft power abroad. Not only ballet performances, but also the entire work of Pyotr Tchaikovsky and other Russian composers were banned.

Meanwhile, many ballet dancers and groups from Ukraine continue to perform Tchaikovsky works in order to stay in shape.
