A concert dedicated to the birthdays of the great composers Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Johannes Brahms took place in Rome. More than 200 spectators gathered in the Russian House in Rome, TASS reports.

The soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic, violinist Gaik Kazazyan and the graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, pianist Natalia Morozova performed Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Souvenir d'un Lieu Cher - a three piece collection for violin and piano.

The violinist noted that he had previously given concerts in a number of Roman theaters and in the city hall. According to Kazazyan, at European concerts he did not encounter attacks on Russian culture. He called the sanctions against Russian culture stupid. The violinist is sure that foreign cultural figures share this point of view.

The head of the Russian House, Daria Pushkova, noted that the full house at the concert of Tchaikovsky and Brahms eloquently testifies that "culture knows no boundaries." She noted that in Italy the works of Tchaikovsky are very fond of. The Russian composer visited this country more than once. Tchaikovsky wrote a number of classical works in Italy.
