The 3d Forum of interregional ties, focused on the formats of Russian-French cooperation amid challenging times was hosted on the online platform of the Russian House of Science and Culture in Paris. The primary discussions centered around the enduring partnership ties between cities of the two countries, as reported on the institution's website.

This type of collaboration was established two years ago within the framework of the Cross Year of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and France with the support of the Russian Embassy and Trade Mission.

The participants of the forum were representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Russian Embassy and Trade Mission, Russian cities and regions, as well as Russian and French associations of the most beautiful towns and villages. The special role of twinning and interregional ties between the countries was noted, which allows to maintain and expand contacts, as well as to conduct a constructive dialog.

Russian and French cities have successfully established over 50 partnership agreements. Participants shared updates on the progress of joint projects with French municipalities. For instance, Azov from Rostov Oblast continues its cultural and memorial collaborations with the French city of Courbevoie.

Second Vice-Mayor of Gargilesse-Dampierre Hélène Texier addressed the forum, sharing efforts to maintain connections between Russian children adopted by French families and their Russian heritage. Additionally, it was announced that early next year, the Russian House of Science and Culture in Paris will host a traditional exhibition featuring New Year's drawings by young artists from Russia and France, along with artwork from Russian children adopted by residents of various countries.
