The annual conference, supported by the Moscow Government, the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, and the Moscow House of Compatriots, brought together 60 Russian educators from leading universities worldwide.

The first day featured a plenary session addressing the nuances of teaching Russian language and culture in the contemporary context, as well as motivations for studying Russian as a foreign language in universities. The conference unfolded into a breakout session titled "Subject-integrative and digital technologies in Russian language teaching: new realities." The day continued with engaging master classes.
