First African forum of graduates of local universities started on Wednesday, 8 November, TASS reported. More than one and a half hundred people gathered in Tanzania. Guests from Rwanda, Tunisia, Uganda, South Africa, Botswana and other countries of the continent came to Dar es Salaam.

Rossotrudnichestvo organized the event, with Pavel Shevtsov, the deputy head of the agency, leading the Russian Federation delegation.

The two-day forum, as highlighted by the head of the Russian House in Tanzania Alexei Bondaruk, aims to strengthen the community of Russian-educated individuals in Africa.

Participants will also explore in-demand training areas on the continent. Bondaruk emphasized the forum's role in showcasing the high quality of Russian education, continuing the Soviet higher school traditions. Russian universities are capable of responding to any personnel demands of the national economies of our friends across Africa, assured Alexei Bondaruk.
