According to the organizers, the action is aimed at perpetuating the feat of the Soviet people in the fight against fascism. Another objective was to maintain interest in learning the Russian language and history.
Chinese students studying the Russian language, Russian students studying the Chinese language, teachers of the Russian language, and schoolchildren fought for victory. The works came from Russian regions and provinces of China.
All participants received commemorative certificates, the authors of ten prize works were awarded memorable gifts. A special prize went to a schoolgirl from Qiqihar (China). The girl translated all four episodes.
