Festival of children's Russian-language theaters held in London

Karavai festival of children's Russian-language theaters was held in London, the website of Rossotrudnichestvo informs. The forum brought together creative teams from all over the UK for the fourth time. This year, young artists from Chelmsford, Colchester, Leeds, Brighton, Crawley, London and Belfast presented their talents and skills. 

According to the organizers, representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo and Director of the theater Dmitry Turchaninov, the main thing about the festival was the opportunity to establish contacts between the teams. Leaders and their students were able to exchange experiences and new ideas.

In addition, the festival allows children to communicate in Russian. 

Some theater studios performed on Karavai Festival a year ago. The performances of this season showed that their level of creativity has raised. New entrants also showed good performance across the board.

Chemodanchik studio from Northern Ireland became the winner of the festival and received the main award. Play on poems by Samuel Marshak was special for its integrity and professionalism. The students of the studio led by Anna Shestakova showed an excellent acting game and a harmonious score of the performance. The winners were awarded a certificate to attend one of the performances from Chameleon Russian-speaking Theater. In the younger age category, The Adventures of Masha and Vitya of the Horizon school-studio was recognized as the best performance.
