Moscow International Educational Fair opens today

Moscow International Education Fair opens today in the capital of Russia. It is already the forth event of that kind, RIA Novosti reports. Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation having organized the forum advised that its main topic would be a new educational ecosystem. For the first time, the sponsor of Moscow International Education Fair is UNESCO.

Among the event participants are teachers, representatives of ministries and offices from different regions as well as educational and scientific organizations. There are about one thousand specialists in total. According to organizers, regions demonstrated vivid interest in Educational Fair. A lot of applications for participation were sent by specialists involved in new educational projects.

One of the most prominent events of MIEF is UNESCO Ministry Forum titled Education as a Foundation of Effective Strategy for Children and Youth Resistance to Ideas of Radicalism, Extremism and Violence. The Heads of Educational Ministries from different countries are going to discuss feedback on the role of educational system in raising resistance of students to radical ideologies and extremism.

Moscow International Education Fair will welcome more than fifty thousand guests. Fifty foreign delegations from thirty countries will attend the forum.
