The Latvian parliament voted in zero reading for a bill according to which Riga will take away the building of the House of Moscow from Russia, journalist Alexey Stefanov reports on his Telegram channel.

According to Stefanov, the initiative to confiscate the Russian building belongs to nationalist MP Janis Dombrava. He accused the House of Moscow of allegedly uniting forces hostile to the Latvian state and posing a threat to it. No evidence was provided for the accusation.

Based on this unfounded assertion, a bill was written, which was supported by 72 out of 100 parliamentarians. The decision to confiscate the building from Russian ownership has been submitted to the Sejm Commission on Defense and Internal Affairs.
