The monograph Political Metaphorology: Cognitive and Discursive Studies from Russian into Chinese was translated by Yang Ke, the Head of the Russian Centre, Professor of Guangdong University of Foreign Languages and International Trade, and Jiang Chao, Methodologist of the Centre. The authors of the monograph are Russian linguists A. P. Chudinov, E. V. Budaev and O. A. Solopova.

The book underscores essential elements in the comparative examination of Russian and foreign-language metaphorical systems, emphasizing their place and significance within cultural contexts. It also introduces contemporary methodologies for the comparative analysis of metaphors in political discourse and elucidates the distinctive features of the discursive shift in Russian political metaphorology.
