The festival of Russian culture is launched in Tanzania for the second time, the Russian Embassy reports. It is held on the site of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Dar es Salaam. Representatives from St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU) shared fascinating insights about Russia, discussed the scientific potential of the Russian Federation, and provided information about studying at SPbSU during the event.

The participants were treated to a delightful tea session featuring Russian sweets. They were engaged in a quiz about the country.

The festival, spanning four days in Dar es Salaam, offers an opportunity on Saturday, December 9, to explore Russian culture and attend calligraphy master classes at the Open Education Center.

Tanzania residents displayed keen interest in folk art master classes. Everyone had the chance to try their hand at being artists, learning to draw elements of the renowned Khokhloma painting ornament.
