Luxembourg Welcomes Stanislavsky Exhibition

Luxembourg is currently hosting an exhibition in honor of Konstantin Stanislavsky's anniversary, TASS. reports This year marks the 160th birthday of the renowned theater reformer. Stanislavsky: In Search of the Blue Bird exhibition is now open to the public.

The exhibition is housed in the Rossotrudnichestvo office and curated by the Bakhrushin Central Theater Museum. It offers a rich collection, featuring playbills, programs, caricatures, cartoons, historical photos capturing Stanislavsky's rehearsal moments, and portraits of iconic Moscow Art Theatre artists. The display is further enriched by sketches of costumes and scenery from productions that have left an enduring legacy in theatrical history. Notably, many exhibits showcase the artistic brilliance of renowned creators from the late 19th to the early 20th centuries.

The multimedia section features unique documentary footage of the rehearsal of the master's last performance of Tartuffe, excerpts from the film-performance At the Bottom, and episodes from About Our Theater documentary.


The exhibition will be open for exploration until the start of February, offering ample time for visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Stanislavsky.
Russian Ambassador Dmitry Lobanov promised that December would be full of events related to Russian culture and history. The Ambassador emphasized that Russian art in Europe remains relevant and popular, serving as a vital bridge connecting countries and peoples.
