Three professors and seven students from the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH) have embarked on a journey to New Delhi for a collaborative initiative with children. The visit is made possible with the support of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots, Rossotrudnichestvo reports.

The Russian experts, including Evgenia Krieger, Head of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of Education, Marina Mishina, Professor of the same department, and Dilara Efremova, Associate Professor of the Department of Neuro- and Pathopsychology, are involved in the project.

During the initial session, volunteers introduced traditional Russian toys to the children. They taught how to cope with difficult situations, manage emotions, feelings and desires, and developed their cognitive abilities.

The engagement with children from disadvantaged families will continue at the Russian House in New Delhi and schools across the capital.
