Foreign students participate in finals of Big Change competition in Artek

The final round of the Big Change contest, where Russian students of grades 5-7 and their peers from abroad compete, started the day before, on July, 18. Schoolchildren gathered in the Artek recreation center, its telegram channel reports.

About 700 young Russians came to the Black Sea coast from all regions of the country. The number of foreign participants aged 14 to 17 exceeds 200 people.

Divided into several teams, the teenagers study the history and culture of Russia, they also get acquainted with Russian sights and the achievements of outstanding Russians.

Dmitry Polikanov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, called Big Change a sustainable brand. According to him, the competition has gained great popularity over the past few years. He assured that the department is happy to help young people come to Russia.

The winners of the international track will have the opportunity to study for free at leading Russian universities and will be able to go on author's tours around Russia provided by the More than a Journey project.

The Big Change contest aims to ensure that everyone can develop their talents and abilities.
