The Koktebel Jazz Party Festival opens on Friday, August 21, RIA Novosti reports. Crimea has been hosting it every year for almost 20 years. The music forum is traditionally held in the village of Koktebel.

Jazz performed by Russian and foreign musicians will be played at two stages. One of them will open in the house-museum of Maximilian Voloshin. The famous poet of the Silver Age lived in Koktebel for many years. The main stage is located on the shores of the Black Sea, and the jazz melodies will be accompanied by the noise of the sea.

The festival will open with a performance by a large jazz orchestra conducted by Petr Vostokov. The ensemble of Yakov Okun will also take the main stage. Russian pop star Larisa Dolina will perform as a soloist. They will be joined by the Brazilian jazz ensemble Esh and Manka Groove.

On the last day of the festival program, viewers will greet the Daniel Kramer trio, the patriarch of Russian jazz Igor Bril, and singer Mariam Merabova. The festival will end with Sergey Golovnya's big band.
