More than 1,0000 performers from different countries to take part at Moscow Jazz Festival

More than 1,000 performers from different countries will join the participants of the Moscow Jazz Festival, TASS reports. According to the artistic director of the forum, Igor Butman, among them there will be musicians from Indonesia, the USA, Turkey, Thailand, Israel, Cuba. The festival starts on June, 19 and will last for a week.

Outstanding double bass player Eddie Gomez from the USA, Chiangmai Street Jazz Collective from Thailand, Keubitbit Band from Indonesia, Ofer Landsberg Quartet from Israel, Eyl l Erg l Quintet from Turkey are going to perform in Moscow.

Among the Russian performers will be Larisa Dolina, Ildar Abdrazakov, Valery Syutkin, Polina Gagarina and others.

The festival will open in the Zaryadye hall with a program that brought together Igor Butman, Larisa Dolina and the Moscow Jazz Orchestra. The festival will close with a performance by Igor Butman and Alexei Guskov.

The jazz festival in Moscow was organized for the first time last year. It was dedicated to the centenary of Russian jazz. The number of listeners exceeded 250,000 million people.
