UN Security Council meeting takes place today, February 12, Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper informs. The event coincided with anniversary of 2 Minsk Agreements.

Set of measures to complete agreements was established 4 years ago in Belorussian capital.

Leaders of Normandy Four (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine) participated in the meeting.

Minsk-2 Protocol is a 13-point agreement that foresees withdrawal of heavy weaponry and foreign military formations and stopping the fire in Donbass. It was planned that OSCE will will monitor implementation of these decisions.

The agreement was signed by representatives of Russia, Ukraine, DNR and LNR representatives, and the OSCE.

As Russkiy Mir reported before, in 2015 intensive multilateral efforts to resolve the crisis in Ukraine by Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine have lasted all night long.
