Polish organization Kursk starts restoring Soviet soldiers' cemetery near Krakow

Polish organization Kursk Reconstruction works have started at the Soviet soldiers' cemetery near Krakow, RIA Novosti reports. Polish military-memorial organization Kursk has initiated this action in Proszowice. More than 500 Soviet soldiers and officers have lost their lives there in January 1945.

According to the head of Kursk Jerzy Tyc alomg with the restoring the volunteers will try to to establish the identities of the Read Army heroes.

Jerzy Tyc has added that the memorial inauguration will take place on April 14, 2018. Official Russia representative Maria Zakharova plans to participate in this event. Also family members and descendants of those buried in Proszowice, and Russian compatriots residing in Poland will join the celebration.

Let us remember that Polish military-memorial organization Kursk has restored the mass grave in Zabel.
