Russian Embassy press-service has written this message about this news on Instagram page. Elly Pew is currently working over project about USSR (Russia) and USA collaboration in space and is interested in Contract About Space, 1967 and joint work of the two superpowers in space.

The schoolgirl was very impressed with the movie and its plot about the deed of Soviet cosmonauts and she even started studying Russian language. Elly Pew has expressed hope that during her next meeting with Russian Ambassador she would be able to speak in Russian with him.

Ambassador Antonov has thanked American girl for the kind words and congratulated her with coming Christmas and New Year with sweets and presents.

It is worth reminding that demonstration of Russian drama Salut-7 prior to its premiere took place in Embassy at the beginning of October 2017. Russian compatriots, schoolchildren and students of Carmel Institute of Russian History and Culture were present at the demonstration.
