14 Russian kids won at the International Informatics Tournament

RF Ministry of Education Russian schoolkids succeeded at the 9th International Autumn Tournament in Informatics in Shumen city, Bulgaria, reports Federal RF Ministry of Education portal. Russian team have won for the very first time in the Juniors league competing with Ukrainian, Romanian, Bulgarian and Serbian kids.

Five Russian schoolkids from Tatarstan have received gold medals and titles of absolute tournament champions. Three Russian teams have participated in the oldest age group taking the top spot in the medal count, taking 4 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.

In totaal, there were 100 schoolkids participating in contest. This tournament is an important step in preparing for participation in the International informatics in Olympiad that to be held in Japan next year.
