The next two years - 2024 and 2025 - will become cross years of culture between Russia and China, RIA Novosti reports. This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping during negotiations with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who is in Beijing on a working visit.

According to Xi Jinping, this large-scale project will allow the friendly relations binding the peoples of the two countries to further evolve. He recalled that these ties were initiated many years ago and are passed on from generation to generation.

It is important to plan a rich program and hold many different events for humanitarian and cultural exchange between Russia and China, the Chinese leader added.
