The Russian Film Week is being successfully held in Singapore, RIA Novosti reports. According to diplomats, the huge interest in the works of Russian filmmakers proves that attempts to cancel Russian culture are fruitless.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Embassy demanded that residents of the country boycott the cultural event. The Russian Embassy is sure that nothing else could be expected from a country that destroys the memory of Russian cultural figures whose fame resounds throughout the world. Kyiv also spreads an inhuman culture of violence and intolerance, deeply rooted in Nazi ideology, the diplomatic mission noted.

Ukrainian diplomats continue the course of the Kyiv regime, the goal of which is to abolish everything Russian, the diplomats stressed. They suggested that the Ukrainian authorities had no other arguments left.

The Russian embassy thanked the Singapore authorities for the opportunity to demonstrate Russian achievements in culture.
