Compatriots Media Forum takes place in Istanbul

The Moscow Department of External Economic and International Relations, the Moscow House of Compatriots and the Moscow Center for International Cooperation are holding the Compatriots Media Forum in Istanbul from September, 30 to October, 4, 2023.

The event is supported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Consulate General in Istanbul and the Russian House in Ankara. The forum was supported by the Komsomolskaya Pravda media group and the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The meeting participants included about 50 representatives of Russian-language foreign media, organizations of compatriots living abroad from almost 30 countries, representatives of leading Russian media, and experts.

The speakers are representatives of Russia Today, TASS, Komsomolskaya Pravda, TV channels Mir and Moscow 24, the WARP Foundation and the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The media forum program includes panel discussions, round tables, and master classes. Participants will also be given a tour of Istanbul. They will present their projects and share their experiences, discuss current professional challenges and opportunities for further cooperation.

The first media forum for compatriot media representatives was held in Istanbul in December 2022. It brought together more than 40 representatives of Russian-language foreign media and compatriot organizations.
