Cinema night to be held in Russia for 7th time

All cinema fans are invited to attend Cinema Night. It will take place from August, 26 to August, 27. The event will be the 7th in a row, the telegram channel of the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova reports. It is held on the eve of the professional holiday of filmmakers, which is celebrated in Russia on August, 27.

Numerous events are planned throughout the country. Their venues will be libraries, museums, philharmonic societies and cinemas. The program will include lectures, excursions, concerts, master classes, creative meetings, film screenings.

The audience will be offered to view the three highest-grossing films shot in Russia: "Cheburashka" by Dmitry Dyachenko, "Challenge" by Klim Shipenko and "Righteous" by Sergei Ursulyak.

The film festival is popular throughout Russia. Last year, the event took place for the first time in the easternmost settlements of Russia, in Chukotka. In the Moscow region, the Cinema Night united 250 venues, films about Moscow were screened in the capital, excursions to filming locations took place.
