The Mikhailovskoe museum-reserve of Alexander Pushkin has reached agreements on the implementation of cultural projects in China, India and Kazakhstan related to the biography and work of the Russian poet. The planned events will help the residents of these countries to learn more about Pushkin, the Brands of Russia website reports.
The Russian museum spoke about the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Guangdong University of Foreign Languages and Foreign Trade. On the birthday of Alexander Pushkin and the Day of the Russian Language, June 6, two expositions are being prepared for the opening at the Chinese university, including an exhibition of illustrations for Pushkin's Eugene Onegin.
In India, Rossotrudnichestvo venues will also host an exhibition of illustrations on the birthday of the Russian classic. In addition, guests will be shown documentaries that were filmed in Mikhailovskoe.
The museum also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Mikhailovskoe is convinced that the expansion of international relations will contribute to the preservation of the cultural heritage of Russia.
