The railway part of the Crimean bridge will resume working next month, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.

The Taman Road Administration promised that trains would start running earlier than planned. To date, the most time-consuming stages of the restoration of the bridge after the terrorist attack have been completed. It remains to equip the upper structure of the track, lay engineering communications and drainage. Work is going on ahead of schedule.

The terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge took place on October, 8, 2022. The movement was suspended due to damage received as a result of the explosion of a truck, which caused the fuel tanks of the train to ignite. On the same day, traffic was resumed along the two surviving automobile lanes, and trains again started running along one railway line. Bus service was launched on the morning of October, 17. After the explosion, boats and ferries began to work at the Kerch sea crossing.

All lanes of the Crimean bridge, which suffered in October last year as a result of the terrorist attack, were opened to traffic at the end of February, 39 days ahead of schedule.
