The Russian Language Olympiad starts in Turkey. It is conducted by the Association of Teachers of Russian Studies and Translators, the telegram channel of the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots of Turkey reports. The tournament of experts in the Russian language has already become a good tradition; it is being held for the 7th time. The Olympiad was dedicated to the work of the famous children's writer Eduard Uspensky.

Children and adolescents aged 6 to 16 living in Turkey were invited to participate. The winners will be determined in three categories: among bilingual children, among those for whom Russian is a mothertongue, and those who study Russian as a foreign language.

Prizes will be drawn in three categories: Russian language, literature and creativity.
