African International Congress kicks off in Moscow

The African International Congress will bring together diplomats, government officials and businessmen, scientists and cultural figures from Russia and African countries on April, 5 in Moscow. The participants will discuss cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

The Congress is a platform for maintaining ongoing interaction in the field of trade and investment between African countries, Russia and the Eurasian states.

The forum will touch upon many topical issues, including the investment climate in African countries, the development of cooperation in the field of culture, sports and tourism. The establishment of the African International University will be discussed separately.

A number of documents in the field of trade and investment, as well as in humanitarian areas will be signed at the end of the forum. The Congress is planned to be held every year in Russia and African countries.
