Hibla Gerzmava International competition started in Moscow

More than 50 people will become participants of the Hibla Gerzmava competition, which started on Thursday, January, 12, TASS reports. The creative contest will take place for the first time.

Performers from many countries will take to the stage of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theater. Brazilian, Mongolian, Azerbaijani performers, guests from South Africa, China, Belarus, France, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia are going to take the stage. 

The names of the winners will be announced on January, 22. The winner of the Grand Prix will receive a prize of 2,5 million rubles. The total prize fund exceeds 6,5 million rubles.

In addition, the laureates will have the opportunity to perform at the leading Russian opera theaters - the Bolshoi and Mariinsky, as well as at the Helikon Opera theater.
