Cars are now driving along the restored part of the Crimean bridge, Interfax reports. Traffic on the right side of the car lanes was resumed on the morning of December, 5.

On November, 19, builders finished restoration works on all four spans of the road section, which were damaged as a result of the terrorist attack, said Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Minor repairs will now continue on the left side of the bridge.

The terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge took place on October, 8. The traffic was suspended due to damage received as a result of the explosion of a truck, which caused the fuel tanks of the train to ignite. On the same day, traffic was resumed along the two surviving car lanes, and trains also went over the bridge again. Bus service was launched on the morning of October, 17. After the explosion, boats and ferries began to work at the Kerch sea crossing.
