Performers from Russia, Vietnam and other states won awards of Princess of Circus festival

The title of "Princess of the Circus" went to Russian Tatyana Belikova, aerial gymnast performing on belts, TASS reports. She received the Grand Prix at the competition of the same name, which was held in Saratov.

The jury called Belikova's performance flawless, they highly appreciated the tricks that she performs without insurance.
 
Gold crowns were awarded to Russian white tiger trainer Alisa Nesterova and Vietnamese aerialists Pham Thi Huon and Chu Hong Tuy. Silver went to acrobats Ksenia Solovyova and Arina Sagaydak of the Feeria studio, as well as Ekaterina Dmitrieva, a canvass gymnast with horse training. Another silver medal went to 14-year-old Sophia Gottfried, equilibrist of the Royal Circus Gia Eradze.

Bronze medal winners include tightrope walker Anna Demidova from Kazakhstan, aerial chord de parel gymnast Yevgenia Zavadskaya, ring aerialists Charlotte Joget and Helen Kolesnikov from France, and clown Oksana Neskladnaya from the Great Moscow Circus.

The competition was held for the 8th time by the Russian State Circus, the largest circus company in the world. It aims to highlight the role of women in the circus arts. The festival is still the only one where only women compete for victory.
