25 Russian-speaking associations from different regions of France have joined the 4th Forum of Russian Schools, which took place in Paris, Rossotrudnichestvo reports on its Telegram channel. Among the participants were also representatives of St. Petersburg State University and the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language.

The forum was held at the Russian House. Like last year, it combined traditional forms of work and the online format. This allowed to increase the number of participants - teachers of Russian as a foreign language, teachers working with bilingual children, heads of educational institutions, and many others.

As Russkiy Mir reported, according to the organizers, the forum has proven itself as a platform for the consolidation for Russian-speaking teaching community. In addition, it provides an opportunity to form a network of organizations that are engaged in out-of-school education in Russian.

The participants raised the question of replenishing library funds of schools with necessary educational and fiction literature. Another topic that caused a wide discussion was the problem of finding premises suitable for training. It was also discussed how to encourage teachers for their contribution to strengthening the position of the Russian language abroad. As usual, teachers shared didactic and methodological findings in teaching.

Representatives of St Petersburg University invited the participants to cooperate more actively with its online school.

The forum concluded with the award ceremony of the winners of the 6th competition of Russian language teachers in France.
