1st Youth Conference of Russian Compatriots took place in Brazil

The 1st conference of young immigrants from Russia was held in Brazil, the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry reports. It took place on July, 16.

The forum participants, including representatives of public organizations of compatriots, Russian diplomats and others, discussed a wide range of topics. The issue of counteracting Russophobia was one of the key topics of the conference, as well as interaction in the cultural and business spheres. The conference also touched upon the creation of a strategy aimed at promoting the interests of Russia in Brazil.

The final event of the conference was the planting of a tree, which served as a starting point in the activities of the organization uniting the young wing of compatriots.
