About 2,000 young athletes from 14 countries to take part in Children of Asia Games

Young athletes from 14 countries are going to compete within the Children of Asia sports games, TASS reports. 

The tough situation in the international arena didn't prevent young athletes from Kazakhstan, India, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Armenia, Mongolia and a number of other states from joining the fight for victory. The organizers noted that many countries refused to participate in the games. Russia will be represented by eight teams: from Moscow, Yakutia, Tatarstan, Bashkiria, Primorsky Krai, three teams will represent the federal districts - Siberian, Far Eastern and Ural. In total, about 2,000 people will take part in the competition.

The solemn opening ceremony of the Children of Asia international sports games was held in Yakutia, on the territory of the Lena Pillars National Park, on June, 24. 

The games that have received wide international recognition, to will be held in Vladivostok from July 27 to August 8. The competition is organized every four years in more than 20 sports disciplines.
