Numerous examples of distortion of facts about Russia's special operation in Ukraine in the Western media have been cited by Latin American journalist Ricardo Sanchez Serra during a speech at a conference on the situation in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the journalist, the Americans and NATO are engaged in the dissemination of unreliable information, which is aimed against Russia. All sorts of means are being used - in stories accusing the Russian military, the Western media include old footage from other parts of the world and fragments from computer games. The crimes of the Ukrainian military are being passed off as the actions of the Russian army, the journalist claimed.

Ricardo Sanchez Serra spoke about the existence of neo-Nazis in Ukraine who are hiding in urban social institutions, fearing open clashes with the Russian military. The journalist noted that viewers who perceive such lies were brainwashed by the Western media, depriving them of the ability to separate the truth from fakes.
