Film festival dedicated to Andrei Tarkovsky is taking place in Argentina

The Film Festival dedicated to the 90th anniversary of  Soviet director Andrei Tarkovsky will be held at the Russian House in Buenos Aires April 5-21. The festival is being held within the Pax Russika program of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The organizer of the festival is Silvana Yarmolyuk-Stroganova, co-director of the Pax Russika program, director of the Russian Center at the University of Buenos Aires, film director and member of the Presidium of the Film Directors Guild of Argentina. The Mosfilm studio  provided films with Spanish subtitles for the festival. The film screening will take place at the site of the Russian House, the representative office of Rossotrudnichest in Argentina.

The festival program includes such masterpieces by Tarkovsky as "Ivan's Childhood", "Stalker", "Solaris", "Andrey Rublev."
