The month of Russian-Korean culture opens online, according to the website of the Ministry of Culture. It is included in the program of the Cross Year of Cultural Exchanges and is aimed at deepening and expanding interaction in the cultural sphere. Concerts, forums, exhibitions and other events will acquaint residents of Russia and South Korea with the unique cultural heritage of the two countries.

The first event of the large-scale project took place on December 1. The “Intertwining history and destinies. The stories kept in costumes ” thearetrical performance combined the aesthetics of hallu ("Korean wave" - ​​trends in popular culture) and the display of national traditional hanbok costumes.

The Forum for Cultural Exchange between Russia and Korea will take place on December 4. Cultural figures, scientists and entrepreneurs from the two countries will deliver their reports. The program will be opened by Yuri Bashmet, who will talk about a new era of cultural exchanges between the two countries.

The month includes several more events, dedicated to contemporary music, dances and fairy tales of the two countries.

Until the end of March, an exhibition of works by young artists from Russia and South Korea "The Man Who Saw the Fourth Dimension" will be available on a special website.
