The demand for Russian-made protective masks abroad this year has grown by almost 90%, the turnover exceeded 17 billion rubles. Such data was provided by the Wildberries online trading platform. Confectionery, baby products, sportswear and books about the history of Russia and Russian fairy tales are also among the most in-demand products, TASS reports.

The platform is used to order goods in eight countries, including the former Soviet republics, Slovakia and Poland. This year, about 40% of the goods delivered through the platform for export were produced in Russia; their turnover in 2020 increased by almost one hundred percent.

Wildberries representatives talked about the products that buyers from different countries prefer. For example, Poles often order underwear from Russia, while in Slovakia they love Russian-made shoes and household goods. In Belarus, Russian books are in demand, and in Kazakhstan - clothes and beauty products.
