The conflict escalation between Moscow and Washington is constantly growing, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says. He claims that rising intensity of political rhetoric proofs it, RIA Novosti reports. He stated this on Tuesday in Big Game TV-program on the Channel One.

Moreover, the NATO is noticeably moving its military infrastructure to the Russian borders. Battalions of the United States, Britain, Canada, France, Germany appeared in the Baltic republics and other Post-Soviet countries.

These steps significantly increase the risks of military confrontation. The Foreign Minister reminded that the western partners have been repeatedly warned that this is unacceptable for Russia. In addition, Kiev and Tbilisi have almost received a formal invitation to join the North Atlantic Alliance.

NATO countries repeatedly assure that Ukraine will join them, says the head of the Russian foreign ministry. These promises made the representatives of the war party in Kiev lose their heads.

Now forces are build up on the contact line in the east of Ukraine. Moscow has information that the United States is sending ammunition and weapons there. Also, Western countries send military instructors to Ukrainian security forces.

Today's situation resembles the events of 2008 when the President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili decided that he was allowed to do everything and attacked his own citizens.
