Turkish delegates honored memory of Andrey Karlov

pixabay.comTurkey Parliament delegation visited Russian Embassy in Ancara to lay flowers at the bust of Andrey Karlov, TASS reports.

The ceremony was dated to the Diplomatic Worker Day that celebrated in Russia on February, 10. Russian Ambassador in Turkey Andrey Yerkhov thanked all those who make efforts to perpetuate the memory of Andrey Karlov. Let us remember, the street in Demre, Antalya Province, named in honor of Russian diplomat. There are plans to name streets in other Turkish cities in honor of Russian diplomat.

Turkey Parliament representatives claimed that Andrey Karlov has done a lot for Turkish people and for strengthening connections between our countries. As the delegates underlined, his deed will continue in others

Andrei Karlov was assassinated while attending an exhibition at an art gallery in Ankara on December 19, 2016. He was awarded the title of the Hero of Russia posthumously.
