screenshot from Gogol. The Beginning/Filmpro.ruProducers of Japan and Latin America TV companies are interested in Gogol project presented on the audiovisual film content market for entertainment MIPCOM, TASS reports.

According to TV-3 Russian project producer Valery Fedorovich, almost 30 potential buyers want to see the subtitled version of the Gogol series to take the final decision.

Eight Gogol series are based on the books of genius Russian-Ukrainian writer of 19th century. According to the plot the writer himself enters to his books' mystical reality. There are four series currently ready, such as Gogol. Beginning, Gogol. An Enchanted Place, Gogol. A Terrible Revenge, Gogol. Viy.

There's a certain interest in the project in China, Japan, Northern and Latin America. First film of the series was already screened in several European countries for Russian viewers. It will be shown in Germany on German language very soon.
