Russian kids won 4 medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics

Russian Ministry of Education and Science press/serviceRussian school children have brought from the International Olympiad in Informatics four medals. The tournament was held in Tehran, Iran. Four teens were in Russian team, one from Chelyabinsk and three from Moscow, and each of them has received a prize!

Muscovites V. Romanov and E Lifar have received gold and silver respectively. Other two silver medals were granted to A.Drozdova from Moscow and D. Schpakovsky from Chelyabinsk. Dmitry Sfhpakovsky has become the rating leader among silver medallists.

300 students have participated in the Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). They have represented 80 countries from all over the world.

They were competing in solving and programming algorithmic problems.
