The Hate Among Us documentary, co-produced by Sergei Sarkisov, received the Day Emmy Award, TASS reports. It received an award in the Outstanding Directing Special Class category.

The award ceremony took place last weekend. Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, it was conducted online.

The company that produced the film noted that Sergei Sarkisov became the first Russian producer to receive such a prestigious award.

The film is dedicated to manifestations of anti-Semitism in Western countries. The authors of the film depicted people who had to face aggressive manifestations of anti-Semitism in the world today.

These stories are closely related to the fate of people who survived the tragedy of the Holocaust during the Second World War.

The Daytime Emmy is presented by the New York National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Los Angeles Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. It is awarded for excellence in American daytime television programming.
